Shipping policy
Most Fidget Factory orders include small-batch or made-to-order items. This policy explains processing time, production time, shipping time, tracking, delivery issues, and material care in transit.
Processing & Production Time
In-stock items usually ship within 1–2 business days.
Most 3D-printed items are made to order and require at least 24 hours for production before shipping. Larger items, specialty finishes, multi-colour prints, customized items, or busy order periods may require additional production time.
Processing and production time are separate from carrier shipping time. Shipping estimates shown at checkout begin after the order has been printed, inspected, packed, and handed to the carrier.
Made-to-Order Production
Some items are 3D-printed after you place your order. Production may include printing, inspection, light finishing, and packing.
If an order contains both in-stock and made-to-order items, the order will usually ship together when everything is ready unless we contact you to arrange a split shipment.
Shipping Regions & Carriers
We currently ship within Canada. Select U.S. shipping options may be added in the future.
Orders may ship through Canada Post, UPS, or similar carriers. Available shipping options and costs are shown at checkout.
Economy Shipping
Some small, low-value items may qualify for economy shipping. Economy shipping may be untracked or have limited tracking, depending on the service selected at checkout.
If you choose an untracked shipping option, delivery updates may not be available once the order has been dispatched.
Free Shipping
Free standard shipping may be available for eligible Ontario orders when your order reaches the qualifying cart total shown at checkout.
The qualifying amount is based on the order subtotal before taxes, shipping, and after any applicable discounts. Free shipping applies only to eligible shipping regions and services.
If Canada-wide free shipping is offered in the future, the applicable threshold and conditions will be shown at checkout.
Surprise Gifts
From time to time, qualifying orders may include a Surprise Gift or Surprise Premium Gift. These gifts are selected by Fidget Factory based on availability and may vary by order.
Surprise gifts have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for a specific item, and may not be substituted for a discount or refund.
Tracking & Delivery
A tracking link will be emailed when your order ships, if tracking is included with the shipping method selected at checkout.
If tracking shows “delivered” but you did not receive the parcel, please wait 24 hours, check with household members, neighbours, building management, your mailbox or parcel locker, and the carrier. If you still need help, contact us and include your order number.
Address Changes & Undeliverable Parcels
Please confirm your shipping address carefully at checkout. We can update addresses only before a shipping label has been purchased.
Parcels returned to us as undeliverable can be re-shipped to a corrected address. Additional postage may apply.
We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or loss caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided at checkout.
Local Pickup or Event Pickup
Local pickup or event pickup may be offered only when specifically announced by Fidget Factory. If available, pickup instructions and pickup windows will be provided by email.
Pickup is not available unless it appears as an option at checkout or has been arranged directly with us.
Weather & Material Care in Transit
Most 3D-printed items are made from PLA, PETG, TPU, or similar materials. PLA in particular should not be left in extreme heat, hot vehicles, or prolonged direct sunlight.
Once a parcel is shown as delivered, please bring it indoors promptly to help avoid heat, cold, or weather-related damage.
Customs & Duties
If U.S. or international shipping becomes available, the recipient is responsible for any duties, taxes, brokerage fees, customs charges, or import fees that may apply.
Loss, Damage & Delivery Issues
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the parcel, packaging, and item.
If tracking confirms delivery but the parcel cannot be located, we may be limited in what we can do. However, we will do our best to help you review the tracking information and identify next steps.
Carrier Loss or Damage
If a carrier confirms loss or damage in transit, we will review the situation and may arrange a replacement, refund, or carrier claim depending on the circumstances.
